Riverbend Retreat Vacation Home

Previously run as Riverbend Retreat Bed & Breakfast, we are now open for weekly or monthly vacation rental.  We enjoyed our time as innkeepers immensely and will miss serving our guests very much!  We are excited about breathing new life back into Riverbend as a Vacation Home, and hope to welcome back many of our old B&B friends!

Beautifully situated on a bluff overlooking the St. Joseph River, Riverbend Retreat is a luxury 1927 Mediterranean Colonial vacation home,  nestled in a quiet, secluded area of woods and wetlands.  Just 90 minutes from Chicago, the city of St. Joseph is located on Lake Michigan - home of the famous Silver Beach and several great art museums, galleries, restaurants and charming shops.  Or take a day trip to nearby South Haven or Saugatuck for great shopping and dining.

    A comfy, cozy area for relaxing by the wood-burning fireplace (featuring authentic Batchelder tile) or gathering for conversation or a game of chess.   Read about the history of the home and its original builder.  Cable TV is available in this room.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 The Dining Room

Dine in relaxed elegance!  A full set of dishes, silverware and glassware is available for your use.
